The 100 Club Membership
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These terms and conditions govern membership of The 100 Club provided by Ribble Valley Exterior Care.
Please read these terms carefully before joining. By paying the membership deposit and confirming acceptance, you agree to enter into a 12-month contract with us.
1. ABOUT US
The 100 Club is operated by:
Business name: Ribble Valley Exterior Care
Legal name: Ribble Valley Exterior Care
Business address: Stika Street, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 9GH
Telephone: 07337 145958
Email: hello@ribblevalleyexteriorcare.co.uk
Website: www.ribblevalleyexteriorcare.co.uk
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Ribble Valley Exterior Care. “You” and “your” mean the customer entering into the membership agreement.
2. MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Membership is available to consumers aged 18 or over.
2.2 Membership is limited to the first 100 eligible customers whose applications we accept and whose £35 deposit has been successfully paid.
2.3 Membership applies to one nominated, standard-condition passenger vehicle unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2.4 Commercial vehicles are excluded. Large, specialist, modified or unusually configured vehicles may require our approval before membership begins.
2.5 Membership is personal to the named member and may not be transferred without our prior written agreement.
3. MEMBERSHIP TERM AND TOTAL COST
3.1 The membership runs for a fixed period of 12 months from the agreed membership start date.
3.2 The membership price is £35 per month for 12 months.
3.3 The total contractual price is £420.
3.4 A £35 deposit is required to secure your membership. Subject to your statutory cancellation rights, the deposit will be credited in full against the cost of your first monthly valet. It is not an additional charge.
3.5 The remaining 11 monthly payments of £35 will be collected on or around the same date in each following month using your agreed payment method.
3.6 We will not collect any payment that has not been disclosed and agreed with you.
3.7 The membership ends automatically after the 12-month term. It will not automatically renew. We may invite you to enter into a new agreement, but no renewal will take place without your express agreement.
4. MEMBERSHIP SERVICE
4.1 Membership includes one inside-and-out valet during each monthly membership period.
4.2 Each monthly valet includes:
(a) traffic-film removal;
(b) exterior shampoo;
(c) wax and hand dry;
(d) tyres dressed;
(e) interior vacuum; and
(f) dashboard cleaned and dressed.
4.3 The membership does not include upholstery shampooing, stain removal, mould treatment, specialist detailing, paint correction or any service not expressly listed above.
4.4 Services are provided subject to appointment availability and within a 15-mile radius of Clitheroe, Lancashire.
4.5 Valets may be performed at your home or workplace, provided that:
(a) we have safe and lawful access to the vehicle;
(b) the location is suitable for the work; and
(c) any required permission has been obtained.
4.6 You must ensure that personal possessions, valuables, child seats and other removable items are taken out of the vehicle before the appointment. We are not responsible for items left inside the vehicle unless loss or damage results from our negligence.
5. VEHICLE CONDITION AND ADDITIONAL WORK
5.1 The membership price applies to standard-condition passenger vehicles requiring a normal maintenance valet.
5.2 Excessive mud, pet hair, staining, mould, biological contamination or other unusually heavy soiling may require additional work and may result in an additional charge.
5.3 We will explain any proposed additional charge and obtain your agreement before carrying out chargeable additional work.
5.4 If you decline necessary additional work, we may provide only the services that can reasonably and safely be completed within the standard membership valet.
5.5 We may refuse or stop work where the vehicle or working environment presents a health, safety or legal risk.
6. APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLATIONS AND UNUSED VALETS
6.1 Appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
6.2 You must give at least 48 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
6.3 If sufficient notice is given, we will make reasonable efforts to rearrange the appointment within the same monthly membership period.
6.4 If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, are not available at the agreed time, do not provide access to the vehicle or the location is unsuitable, that month’s valet may be treated as used. This will not apply where it would be unfair or where the failure results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.
6.5 Unless we agree otherwise in writing, unused monthly valets do not roll over, accumulate or have a cash value.
6.6 If we cancel an appointment, we will offer a reasonable alternative date. A valet will not be treated as used where cancellation is our responsibility.
6.7 Mobile valeting is weather-dependent. Where unsafe or unsuitable weather prevents us from completing the service, we will rearrange the appointment and the affected valet will not be lost.
7. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL WITHIN 14 DAYS
7.1 If you join online, through social media, by telephone, email or text message, you normally have a statutory right to cancel without giving a reason within 14 days of the day after the contract is entered into.
7.2 To exercise this right, you must notify us clearly by email, telephone or in writing using the contact details in section 1. You may use the cancellation wording at the end of these terms, but you are not required to do so.
7.3 If you cancel during the 14-day cooling-off period before any service has been supplied, we will refund payments received from you, including the £35 deposit, without undue delay and normally within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
7.4 If you expressly ask us to provide your first valet during the 14-day cooling-off period, you acknowledge that the service will begin before that period has ended.
7.5 If you cancel after expressly requesting that services begin during the cooling-off period, we may deduct or charge a reasonable proportion for services already supplied, as permitted by law.
7.6 Nothing in these terms limits or replaces your statutory cancellation rights.
8. CANCELLATION AFTER THE COOLING-OFF PERIOD
8.1 After the statutory cooling-off period, the membership remains a fixed 12-month agreement.
8.2 You may ask us to end the membership early by contacting us in writing.
8.3 Any early-termination amount will be fair and proportionate and will reflect the losses we reasonably incur as a result of early cancellation, taking account of costs we save and our ability to offer the membership place to another customer. It will not operate as a penalty.
8.4 We will explain any proposed early-termination amount before processing the cancellation.
8.5 We may agree to end the membership without an early-termination charge in exceptional circumstances, including where you permanently move outside our service area or can no longer use the service for a serious reason. We may request reasonable supporting information.
8.6 Your statutory rights, including rights relating to services not performed with reasonable care and skill, are unaffected.
9. PAYMENTS AND ARREARS
9.1 You are responsible for ensuring that payments can be collected on their due dates.
9.2 If a payment fails, we will contact you and give you a reasonable opportunity to bring the account up to date.
9.3 We may suspend membership services while an account is in arrears.
9.4 Suspension does not automatically extend the 12-month membership period or create a right to additional valets.
9.5 We will not impose a disproportionate late-payment charge. Any charge that does apply will be disclosed in advance and limited to reasonable costs actually incurred.
9.6 We may terminate the membership following repeated or material non-payment, after giving reasonable written notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach.
10. CHRISTMAS GIFT VOUCHER OFFER
10.1 A personalised Ribble Valley Exterior Care Christmas gift voucher is available to the first 50 qualifying 100 Club members.
10.2 A qualifying member is one:
(a) whose membership application has been accepted;
(b) whose £35 deposit has cleared;
(c) who has not cancelled during the 14-day cooling-off period; and
(d) whose membership is active and not in arrears when the voucher is issued.
10.3 Only one Christmas gift voucher is available per qualifying membership.
10.4 The voucher may be personalised and gifted to one other person. The associated membership must be active and all payments must be up to date when the voucher is issued and gifted.
10.5 Once validly issued and gifted under clause 10.4, the voucher remains redeemable until its stated expiry date even if the associated membership later ends naturally at the end of its 12-month term.
10.6 The voucher entitles the recipient to one full inside-and-out valet comprising the services listed in section 4.2, unless the voucher expressly states otherwise.
10.7 The voucher is subject to the same vehicle-condition, excluded-service, service-area, access, safety and appointment conditions contained in these terms.
10.8 The voucher must be redeemed by 31 December 2027. Appointments remain subject to availability, so recipients should book well before this date.
10.9 The voucher has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be used with another offer unless we agree otherwise in writing.
10.10 The voucher recipient will not be responsible for the associated member’s monthly membership payments.
10.11 Availability of the first 50 vouchers will be determined using our records of accepted memberships and cleared deposits. If a qualifying customer cancels during the cooling-off period, their voucher allocation may be offered to the next eligible member.
11. OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
11.1 We will perform the service with reasonable care and skill.
11.2 If we fail to perform a service with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to repeat performance, an appropriate price reduction or another remedy provided by law.
11.3 Please inspect the vehicle following the valet and notify us promptly of any concern, providing photographs or other reasonable information where available.
11.4 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) breach of your statutory consumer rights.
12. VEHICLE DAMAGE AND PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS
12.1 You must tell us before work begins about any known defects, loose fittings, damaged trim, non-standard modifications, sensitive finishes, electrical faults or other conditions that may affect the service.
12.2 We may photograph the vehicle before and after the valet to record its condition and the work performed.
12.3 We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear and tear or defects that could not reasonably have been identified before work began.
12.4 We remain responsible for loss or damage caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
13. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE OR TERMS
13.1 We will not change the £35 monthly price, total £420 contractual price or 12-month term during an existing membership.
13.2 We may make minor administrative changes or changes required by law, provided they do not materially disadvantage you.
13.3 If we need to make a significant change to the service, we will give reasonable notice and explain your options. Where the change materially disadvantages you, you may be entitled to end the agreement without penalty.
14. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
14.1 We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, unsafe working conditions, illness, vehicle breakdown, road closure or restrictions imposed by a public authority.
14.2 Where such an event occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and make reasonable efforts to rearrange the affected service.
15. PERSONAL INFORMATION
15.1 We will process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice, available on our website or upon request using the contact details in section 1.
15.2 We may use your details to administer the membership, arrange appointments, collect payments, provide services and communicate important information about your contract.
15.3 We will not add you to unrelated email or text marketing solely because you joined The 100 Club. Where marketing consent is required, we will request it separately and provide a straightforward way to opt out.
16. COMPLAINTS
16.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us at hello@ribblevalleyexteriorcare.co.uk, on 07337 145958, or at Stika Street, Clitheroe, Lancashire, BB7 9GH.
16.2 We will acknowledge and investigate complaints within a reasonable period.
16.3 If we cannot resolve a complaint directly, we will tell you whether an applicable alternative dispute resolution service is available and whether we agree or are required to use it.
17. GENERAL TERMS
17.1 If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
17.2 A delay in enforcing a right does not mean that the right has been waived.
17.3 No person other than you and us has a right to enforce the membership agreement, except that an eligible Christmas voucher recipient may redeem the voucher in accordance with section 10.
17.4 These terms and the membership confirmation form the agreement between you and us.
17.5 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
18. ACCEPTANCE
Before joining, you will be asked to confirm:
“I have read and agree to The 100 Club Membership Terms and Conditions. I understand that this is a fixed 12-month agreement costing £35 per month, with a total contractual price of £420. I understand that the £35 deposit is credited against my first valet, and I have been informed of my statutory cancellation rights.”
If you request your first valet within the 14-day cooling-off period, you will also be asked to confirm separately:
“I expressly request that Ribble Valley Exterior Care begins providing services before my 14-day cooling-off period has ended. I understand that if I cancel after the service has begun, I may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied.”
